All categories start from Shaka Marine and finish at Suncoast. Everyone gets a bib, timing chip, and finisher medal.

Elite
40–55 min
Elite Runner

For competitive athletes. Seeded start at 07:00. Chip-timed from gun. Top finishers receive awards at the Gala Dinner on Day 3.

Recreational
55–80 min
Recreational Runner

For regular runners and fitness enthusiasts. Start at 07:15. Enjoy the scenic route along the Durban South Beach beachfront at your own pace.

Walker
90–135 min
Walker

For everyone who wants to show up and show solidarity. Start at 07:30. Walk at your own pace — participation is the point.

Fun Run Route

Shaka Marine to Suncoast

A scenic coastal run along Durban's iconic South Beach — from uShaka Marine World at The Point, hugging the beachfront, all the way to the Suncoast finish line. Spectators are welcome along the entire route.
